Stamp Act Protest: August 2014 Reenactment Photos

On August 23rd, the Newport Historical Society hosted its first large scale living history event, a reenactment of the 1765 Stamp Act Protest. The event recreated daily life in colonial Newport, showing demonstrations of 18th century printing, tailoring and millinery making, along with the life of ordinary sailors and fine ladies and gentleman.
